Whether you’re grilling for the Memorial Day holiday or it is simply a fire up the grill day, try Spiced Pork Tenderloin. Podcast #2 will show you the step-by-step on this recipe.

SPICED PORK TENDERLOIN

1  2-1/2  lb. pork tenderloin

1 teaspoon seasoned salt

1 tablespoon dried oregano leaves, crushed

1 tablespoon black pepper

1-1/2 tablespoons minced garlic

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon ground cumin

Prepare a medium-hot fire in grill or preheat gas grill  to 3500 .  Combine seasonings, mixing until blended.  Using spatula or hands, rub seasoning mixture all over pork tenderloin.  Place tenderloin on grill.  Close cover and grill 20 to 30 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in center of pork registers 1600. Remove pork from grill; cover with aluminum foil and  let rest 10 minutes, before slicing. Approx. 6 to 8 servings

Note:  I blend my fav dry rubs and spice blends to keep on the shelf to save time when grilling or making spaghetti sauce.   What on-hand spices and herbs do you have in your kitchen?
